Why Me
I left corporate medicine to do something different — to reach people earlier, and in a way that truly works.
I’m a physician first, and I always will be. Medicine gave me everything: the training, the depth, the years at the bedside that taught me how the body actually works. What I wanted was to bring all of that upstream — to the moment before anything goes wrong, when small, smart choices have the most room to compound.
That’s where coaching is powerful. It reaches people at every age and stage — especially the ones who feel mostly fine and know they could feel even better. They don’t need a diagnosis. They need a physician who will sit with them, read the whole picture, and help them build from a place of strength.
That’s the difference I bring that most coaching can’t. I’m a board-certified physician with a background in public health and health policy — a career spent inside medicine, not on the sidelines of it. It’s what lets me see the patterns in your data and understand the medicine beneath them, and it’s why I keep building: most recently as a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
This isn’t a step away from medicine. It’s medicine aimed at the part I find most exciting — you, earlier, building a health you’ll carry for life.

Why I Do This
You're capable and care about your health — maybe more than the people around you realize. You're not looking to be fixed or “optimized” into someone else and blind health directives don’t work for you. The missing piece is you need help making sense of your own health, on your terms, without giving up the things that make life good. Context matters and so do the reasons for any lifestyle change you might decide to make.
I built this for you — and, honestly, for a younger version of me.
I grew up in a blue zone family, living a toxin-free, ultra-healthy lifestyle. I was raised on the longevity playbook before the internet named it — and then spent my twenties rebelling against it. What sent me back was medicine. I trained as a surgeon, and what surgery teaches you is what disease actually looks like when nobody reads the early notes — the kidney that quietly stopped working, the bladder that had been signaling for a decade, the cancer that didn't have to be there. You learn the cost of a system built to find people only after something breaks.
Eventually I stopped wanting to lead with the knife. What I landed on after all these years: health built on deprivation doesn't last, and health you can't enjoy isn't worth much. So I stopped asking how to optimize a life and started asking a better question — what if we built health on purpose, before anything breaks, without giving up the good stuff?
That question became the Health Portfolio: an honest, accessible and organized method to take real ownership of your health. The medical training is the part that makes it work — the dimension most coaching is missing — but I'm not here to be “the doctor.” You're in the driver's seat of your health journey. I'm here to help you build something you own, and actually live your life while you do it.
